Nestled at the edge of Ojai, California, the Ojai Meadows Preserve offers a serene escape into nature's embrace. This 58-acre sanctuary, managed by the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, showcases a successful ecological restoration, transforming once-degraded land into a thriving habitat for native flora and fauna. A Restored Natural Haven Historically, the area suffered from development and the introduction of non-native species, which disrupted the local ecosystem. In 2000, community efforts led to the acquisition and restoration of the land, reintroducing native plants like live oaks, sycamores, and cottonwoods.
